Day 1
GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STATION – SHILLONG

Meet and assist by our representative at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), also called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute we see Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening visit the local market & enjoy shopping on your own. Overnight stay at Shillong.

SIGHTSEEING : Umiam Lake

Umiam Lake is a reservoir. It is a popular destination for water sports and adventure activities. Tourists visit this spot for kayaking, water cycling, scooting and boating.

Day 2
EXCURSION TO CHERRAPUNJEE

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at Shillong.

SIGHTSEEING : Nohsngithiang Falls

Nohsngithiang Falls is a seven-segmented waterfall located 1 kilometre south of Mawsmai village in East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. The water falls from a height of 315 metres and has an average width of 70 metres. making it one of the tallest waterfalls in India.

SIGHTSEEING : Mawsmai Falls

Mawsmai Falls is one of the spectacular waterfalls of Meghalaya. It is very close to the Mawsmai village, and is on the way to Cherrapunji. Mawsmai Falls, locally known as Nohsngithiang Falls is mostly popular for being the fourth highest waterfall in India, plunging down a height of 315 m. This fall is also popularly known as the "Seven Sister Falls" because of the way it divides itself into seven smaller waterfalls as it runs down the treacherous limestone cliffs. On a bright and sunny day, the waterfall is a treat to the eye as it reflects the sun's rays and gives out vibrant colours in all directions.

SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA

After breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”. Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

SIGHTSEEING : Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by many rare migratory birds, and gray pelicans roost near Kaziranga village.

Day 4
KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – BHALUKPONG

After breakfast departure to Bhalukpong. On arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

BHALUKPONG - BOMDILA

Early morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.). Check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

BOMDILA - TAWANG

After breakfast departure to Tawang (11,500 ft.). Enroute visit Sela Pass (13,700 ft.) & Jaswant Garh. Check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.

SIGHTSEEING : Sela Pass

Sela Pass is one of the most visited places in entire Arunachal Pradesh. Sela Pass is considered to be heaven on earth, the Sela Mountain Pass in winter is entirely covered with snow.

SIGHTSEEING : Jaswant Garh , tawang

This Garh is a home of a warrior, Jaswant Singh who sacrificed during the war that was fought against Chinese soldiers. He fought continuously for 72 hours, during the Indo-China war that occurred in 1962.

TAWANG SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery, Namgye Lhaste, Pankang Teng Tso Lake (PT Tso Lake), Gorsham Chorten, Gontse Garden, Singar Ani Gompa. Overnight stay at Tawang.

SIGHTSEEING : Tawang Monastery

Tawang Monastery, also known as the Golden Namgyal Lhatse. This is the second oldest Monastery in the entire world after Lhasa and the largest monastery in Asia.

SIGHTSEEING : Assam State Zoo Cum Botanical Garden

The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden is the largest of its kind in the North East region and it is spread across 432 acre. The zoo is located within the Hengrabari Reserved Forest at Guwahati, India.

An embodiment of divinity set in marble, it actually is very serene inside the temple. One can easy sit meditating or offer prayers at the temple without any fear of being pushed out quickly. It is actually the replica of the Tirupati Balaji Temple.

SIGHTSEEING : Kamakhya Temple

The Kamakhya Temple also Kamrup-Kamakhya. It is the main temple in a complex of individual temples dedicated to the ten Mahavidyas: Kali, Tara, Sodashi, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi and Kamalatmika. The temple consists of four chambers: garbhagriha and three mandapas locally called calanta, pancharatna and natamandira aligned from east to west.

SIGHTSEEING : Assam State Museum

The exhibits of the Museum are displayed under different sections, viz., Epigraphy, Sculptures, Miscellaneous, Natural History, art andCrafts, Anthropology & Folk Art & Arms section. The sculptures from the Assam region fall into four principal categories - stone, wood, metal and terracotta. The collections which are on display here, are very rare.

SIGHTSEEING : Sukreswar Temple

The Sukreswar Temple is an important Shiva temple in the state of Assam and was constructed in 1744. Leading down from the temple compound is a long flight of steps to the river. Sitting on the steps of Sukreswar ghat one can enjoy the scenery of sun setting on the river, boats moving across the river, people performing puja in honour of their relatives who have left this world, children and older people bathing, far removed from the din and noise of the city

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail only.

  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Transport and season/off season time.

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.

  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
