OMKARESHWAR DARSHAN AND REACH MAHESWAR

Morning after breakfast departure for Omkareshwar. Reach Omkareshwar, take a Holi dip in Narmada river and visit Omkareshwar Jyothirlingam. After darshan , proceed to Maheswar. Reach Maheswar check in hotel. Overnight stay at Maheshwar.

Early morning visit Mahakaleswar Jyothirlingam to take part in famous  Bhashma Aarati of Mahakaleshwar Temple . After Mahakaleshwar Darshan visit the following places

KHAJURAHO TEMPLE

Reach Khajuraho  at 14.00PM.  Transfer to hotel. Remaining  time free for independent activity. Evening attend light and sound show of Khajuraho Temple. Overnight stay Khajuraho hotel.

The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a group of Hindu temples in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. They are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India.The temples are famous for their nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. Most Khajuraho temples were built between 950 and 1050 by the Chandela dynasty.Historical records note that the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples by the 12th century, spread over 20 square kilometers Of these, only about 25 temples have survived, spread over 6 square kilometers. Of the various surviving temples, the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is decorated with a profusion of sculptures with intricate details, symbolism and expressiveness of ancient Indian art. The Khajuraho group of temples were built together but were dedicated to two religions, Hinduism and Jainism, suggesting a tradition of acceptance and respect for diverse religious views among Hindus and Jains in the region

WESTERN GROUP TEMPLES AND KHAJURAHO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning After breakfast, visit  Western Group of temples for Khajuraho Temples sightseeing in day- light. In Khajuraho sightseeing, Western group of Temples complex is largest collection of Temples and main place to visit. Here guide service is optional. If you do not need manual guide, you may use audio guide service. In day-light you can observe the art & , sculpture work of Khajuraho Temples and understand the message behind statues. Here Temples can also be visited from inside. Many Temples are present inside with garden area where you can do photography (with not extra fee). After completing the sightseeing in this complex, we will move to Eastern group of Temples where few Temples are present. Duration of Temples sightseeing will be hardly 03:00 hours with this our Temples visit will complete. Afternoon departure for Orchha. Reach orchha .Check in hotel overnight  stay.

PHOOL BAGH AND ORCHHA FORT

Morning after breakfast Visit  Phool Bagh, Orchha fort complex, Laxminarayan Temple and Raja Ram Temple. All these are the major attraction of the place and can leave you with a mesmerizing experience .Night stay at Orchha.

SIGHTSEEING : Laxminarayan Temple

This mix of a temple and fort is a geometrical wonder with an octagonal central tower residing within a triangular temple and housed in a square compound. Its ceilings and walls depict stories of mythology, history and warfare. The temple is an architect’s delight and the temple may appear rectangular from the outside but is a perfect triangle within.

SIGHTSEEING : Phool Bagh

The Phool Bagh is a laid garden of Orchha and carries the testimony of the highly polished aesthetic sagacity of the Bundelas, who used to rule this small palace. This garden has also served as a summer retreat by the kings of Orchha. This Bagh was built as a memorial for prince of Orchha, Dinman Hardaul.

Morning after breakfast, visit Man Mandir,  Gujari Mahal (today an archaeological museum), The fort,Temples of Sas-Bahu, Teli Ka Mandir,  Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad and the Mausoleum of Tansen. Overnight at Gwalior.

The Gujari Mahal Archeological Museum or State Archaeological Museum, sometimes called the "Gwalior Fort Museum", is a state museum in Gwalior, located in the fortress of Gujari Mahal. It displays numerous artifacts of the region, including a fragment of the Garuda capital of the Heliodorus pillar from Vidisha. The palace of Gujari Mahal was built by Raja Man Singh Tomar for his wife Mrignayani, a Gujar princess. She demanded a separate palace for herself with a regular water supply through an aqueduct from the nearby Rai River. The palace has been converted into an archaeological museum.

SIGHTSEEING : Jai Vilas Palace

The Jai Vilas Mahal, also known as the Jai Vilas Palace, is a nineteenth century palace in Gwalior, India. It was established in 1874 by Maharajadhiraj Shrimant Jayajirao Scindia Alijah Bahadur, the Maharaja of Gwalior. While the major part of the palace is now the "Jiwajirao Scindia Museum" opened to the public in 1964, a part of it is still the residence of his descendants the former royal Maratha Scindia dynasty.

Man Mandir Palace is a palace of great historical significance. It is a witness to many heartfelt stories of mindless power. It is a good example of medieval architecture, mixed with Hindu architecture. It is a four-storied building with two floors built underground. It has a circular shape.

Sas Bahu temple in Gwalior is famous temple, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu by the King Mahipala. Lord Vishnu is also known as Sahastrabahu, the one with many hands. But gradually the name changed into Sas Bahu Temple. Lord Vishnu is supposed to be the preserver of this Universe. He keeps vigilance over this earth and if there is any disobedience among men, he punishes them. But he is also considered to be the most kind hearted among the Hindu Gods.

SIGHTSEEING : Teli-ka-Mandir

Teli ka Mandir, also known as Telika Temple, is a Hindu temple located within the Gwalior Fort in Madhya Pradesh, India. Dedicated to Vishnu, Shiva and Matrikas, it has been variously dated between the early 8th and early 9th century CE. It is an unusual Hindu temple, as it has a rectangular sanctum instead of the typical square. It integrates the architectural elements of the Nagara style and the Valabhi prasada that looks like the Dravidian wagon-vault topped gopuram superstructure. The temple is based on a Pratihara-Gopagiri style North Indian architecture.

Bharat Bhavan is an autonomous multi-arts complex and museum in Bhopal, India, established and funded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.The architect of Bhavan is Charles Correa. Opened in 1982, facing the Upper Lake, Bhopal, it houses an art gallery, a fine art workshop, an open-air amphitheatre, a studio theatre, an auditorium, a museum tribal and folk art, libraries of Indian poetry, classical music as well as folk music.

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail only.

  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Transport and season/off season time.

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.

  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
